Otology and Neurotology
Neurotology is a branch of otology concerned with the nervous system's relationship to the ear, particularly the inner ear and associated brainstem structures, also known as Otoneurology. Otology is the treatment of middle ear disease and the resulting conductive hearing loss, whereas neurology is the treatment of inner ear conditions, as well as hearing and balance disorders.
